Dream job: planning parties. Seriously. I love the decorating and the DIYs and finding all the cute coordinating details…so much so, I might have an entrepreneurial endeavor in the works- more later. I just shared the twins’ Party Animals first birthday party here and posted about Ella’s 3rd cinderELLA birthday party here. Ella has recently started to tell me her plans for her 4th birthday (I wonder where she gets it…). She’s going back and forth between a Unicorn theme or an Art Party. Stay tuned.

Before birthday party #4 is here for my big girl, I wanted to share her 2nd birthday which was just the cutest. We had a “Tea for Two” theme and it was so much fun. Here are all the deets!
My main pieces of inspiration for the party were my great grandma’s china & this pretty invitation. The pink & gold & vintage dark turquoise is just so pretty. Add some lacey doilies and some florals and you’re set!
Our favorite little space to decorate for parties! Ella knows where to look for the “surprise” the morning of any birthday in our house.
I made the pennant banners with my favorite tool here. It can make 3 different shapes of banners in infinite sizes. Love love love it. I also framed the invite because it’s the easiest decoration to add! I found a wire greenery vine in the dollar spot at Target & glued flowers to it to hang around the window. It was a pretty pop of color against the white snow outside, you can see!
We had pastries, brownies and cupcakes for dessert + coffee, hot cocoa and tea…everything you need for a tea party.
The kids even got to decorate their own cupcake! I filled artist paint trays with different toppings and set the frosted cupcake in the middle. They thought it was the coolest!
And here’s baby Ella, so I can become all emotional again remembering she will be double this age in a couple months.
